Ex-Horsham Demons star Deek Roberts and 2018 Minyip-Murtoa best and fairest winner Pat Purcell are joined by Matt Magee, Spencer Weir, Will Deayton and Corey Williams as key inclusions for the 2021 season.
Meanwhile, Nick Jasper returns after a knee reconstruction.
Kalkee coach Stuart Farr said he was happy with how his squad was looking ahead of round one.
"We've recruited quite well since 2019, but probably the most pleasing aspect is we haven't lost anyone," Farr said.
"We've got a bit of depth now which is pleasing, as it covers injuries and means there'll be pressure for spots which is a good thing."
OTHER NEWS:
The COVID-19 break, as with all sports clubs, hit Kalkee pretty hard; however, the club can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
"Obviously the social impact of it (cancelling footy) was huge," Farr said.
"Sometimes it's peoples weekly outing.
"The club's in a great spot now with netball, junior netball, senior netball, junior football and we've come out the other side really well."
With restrictions eased, the team has been putting in the hard yards ahead of round one.
"Because everyone's missed it (footy), we've probably trained more regularly than previous years, probably trained harder and everyone's super keen," he said.
MORE NEWS:
Kalkee last played finals in 2018, when they eventually went down to Harrow Balmoral in the Grand Final.
This year Farr says his side was focused on playing "consistent footy".
"We're looking forward to playing some good footy week to week," he said.
"Our goal is to play finals like I'm sure it is with all sides."
As for how they'll get there, Farr plans to use his side's stature to their advantage this year.
"We'll be a fast-ball moving side," he said.
"We're not blessed with height, there's no secret there, so we've got to move the ball quickly and get it out to open spaces."
MORE HDFNL FOCUS:
Netball numbers on the preseason courts have been positive for the club with some strong juniors who can step up into senior roles.
Kalkee's Jaymi O'Connor said a big key for the club was to nurture the junior players to grow them into the club's future senior players.
"It's a really big priority for our club," she said.
"We've always had this in mind. We want to make sure those players, and their families, stick around the club and that's going to show this year with some of our juniors playing A and B Grade netball."
O'Conner said with a young side the players would most likely play a fast brand of netball. "We definitely work on our fitness and prioritise our ability to run out full games," she said.
The juniors who will step up for the 2021 season are Mia McGrath, Lotus Martin and Olivia Brilliant.
