Laharum won its first A Grade premiership in 2019, after a dramatic one-goal win in extra time.
However, the team's first match of 2021 was more one-sided, as Laharum defeated 2019 semi finalists Edenhope-Apsley 68-15.
Laharum co-coach Erin Mellington said the players had found their rhythm after a slightly chaotic start to the match.

"In the first quarter everyone was a little bit excited and it was a bit rushed and a bit sloppy," she said.
"But in the second quarter, we went into it really calm and just tried to narrow down those silly mistakes we made in the first quarter.
"We just really focused on taking our time and converting our turnovers, which I think we did the majority of the time."
Mellington said she was pleased with how the players were gelling on the court.
OTHER NEWS:
"Our core group has been playing together for a while," she said.
"Our recruits really helped as well. Liv Jones was great in the centre today, and they all just fit in really well, so it was really good to see it come together."
Laharum's 2019 grand final opposition, Natimuk, also began their season with a win, albeit a less decisive one.
Natimuk narrowly trailed Rupanyup early in the third quarter, but would eventually pull away to win 36-22.
