Broome took the win in a close contest with Tyson Martin (second) and Luke Storer (third).
The event's time trials were done in heats on a very sticky track.
Carly Walsh was the fastest in first heat out with 19.112, followed by Mick Rigby with 10.356.
Brett Ireland was the fastest in second heat with 17.857, followed by Mitchell Broome with 18.320.
Luke Storer was the fastest in the last heat with 17.451, followed by his brother Daniel with 17.589.

Sunday racing started at 2pm with two more heats, pole shuffle and finals all to be contested.

Heat 3b winner Mick Rigby, followed by Carly Walsh and Local Luke Schneider. DNF Robert Whiteside.
Heat 3c winner Daniel Storer, followed by Tyson Martin and Steven Hateley.
Heat 4a winner Matt mills, followed by Mitch Broome and Rhys Heinrich.
