Less than a week since the finish of the upgrades, damage has been caused on the road.
In a statement in it's newsletter, Hindmarsh Shire Council said it was "very disappointing that so much effort and funding is put into constructing a road for this to happen".
"Council will now need to go back to patch the road on a seal that is less than a week old, which is an unnecessary and additional expense to the project," the statement read.
"Unfortunately, this isn't the first incident on this road, the unsealed pavement was also damaged and ripped up, having to be repaired prior to sealing.
"A reminder to all road users to please obey roadwork speed limits while we are working in speed restricted zones. This is for the safety of road users and construction workers."
