McIntyre was assistant coach of the Victoria Country under 18 side, who won their bronze medal game by 33-points against South Australia on Saturday.
"It's been a massive ten days, but yeah it was amazing," McIntyre said.
McIntyre admitted the side went in "planning to be there at the end of the week" but were aware that the other states had "better preparation", due to not having as long a lockdown as Victoria.

The tournament was McIntyre's first time coaching at the level, although she was set to be an assistant coach for the side last year before COVID forced the tournament to be cancelled.
"It was an exceptionally amazing experience," McIntyre said.
"It was really high-level and professional and just amazing to be a part of a national championships and to see the best athletes in that age group from across Australia play and just to be a part of that and a part of their journey, was something I'll honestly remember forever."
McIntyre is currently coaching a couple of Horsham's B squads and is heavily involved in the Aussie Hoops and under 10s programs for the area.
OTHER NEWS:
McIntyre hopes that her coaching development will not only benefit her but also the players she coaches back in Horsham.
"Part of the reason why I do this stuff and volunteer my time to be a part of these programs is so that I can upskill myself, so that I can be the best possible coach," she said.
"It's a constant journey coaching and (I do it) to make sure I'm relevant and that I'm up to date with everything just in regards to our state pathways, so that I can come back and implement some of those things within our Horsham programs and make sure that we're teaching the kids the right way from the start.
"Something I'm really passionate about is coming back and giving back to Horsham and making sure that we're giving kids the best opportunity, not only just to participate, but if there are kids that wanna progress on the pathway and go to those elite levels then we've got that information to be able to give them.
