FOUR new Australians were welcomed to the community in a citizenship ceremony at the Horsham Civic Centre.

At the ceremony new citizens were presented with a certificate by Horsham Rural City Council mayor Robyn Gulline, as well as a plant and an Australian flag.
New citizen Tazeen Rameezkhan was originally born in India and moved to Horsham in 2013 with her husband.
She said she was honoured to become a citizen.
"I am so glad and honoured to be in Australia and be an Australian citizen. It is really an honour," she said.

Cr Robyn Gulline welcomed the four new Australians and swore them in.
"They were just so excited and it was delightful to see. It was really a happy place to be, it was nice to welcome people back to the Civic Centre and get over the hill back to normality," she said.
New citizen Amarjit Kaur said she was very happy to be in Australia.
"I am very happy here. I moved from India to Horsham and I like Horsham," she said.
"My favorite thing about Australia is the people, they are very nice, very kind and smiling always."
