The 20-year-old man from Dandenong North was seriously injured in a three truck collision that occurred in the early morning hours of Friday, April 16.
A spokesperson from the Royal Melbourne Hospital confirmed the man was still hospitalised but was now in stable rather than serious condition.

The 20-year-old man was trapped after three b-double trucks collided, on the Western Highway at Gerang Gerung with one truck rolling into nearby farmland.
The man was trapped in the cabin of one truck and an extraction was required. He was then airlifted to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The two other drivers, a 64-year-old Wangaratta man and a 61-year-old Bayswater man who were taken by road to Wimmera Hospital in stable condition with no obvious injuries.
