The Storm ended up winning by 21-points in the end, after trailing by two points at three quarter time.
Storm coach Daniel Batson was pleased to get the win on the Roos' home ground.
"It's always good to do the long trip there and come away with the points, it's probably been a few years since that has happened, so it's a great result," Batson said.
READ MORE:
Batson said it was a total collective effort that helped them take the points.
"It was a team effort," he said.
"It's a bit of a cliché but I think the first half we were playing ok footy, and then in the second half we just really started playing for each other and got the finishing up forward from our three, good forwards.
"And the defence did a really good job limiting Stoudey and Close as well."
While Batson acknowledges the win will give his side confidence, he is not getting ahead of himself.
"Harrow mightn't be as strong as they were in the past, but they're still going to be definitely up there at the end of the season, so any win against them is always a good one," he said.
"Obviously this early in the season it's hard to say who's going to be the strongest team by the end of it, but obviously Harrow will always be around the mark.
"They've got a few to come back in, we've got a few to come back in.
"Early in the season its too hard to read too much into those sort of results."
Peter Weir and Jay Kirkwood, "the usual suspects" as Batson referred to them, were among the Storm's best, while Simon Close and Callum Hobbs stood out for the Roos.
The closest game of the round was between Kaniva-Leeor and Natimuk, with the Rams winning by 11-points in the end.
Kaniva-Leeor led by a mammoth 28-points at the first break, but the Rams were able to claw back, kicking seven goals to two in the second.
From there it was neck-and-neck for the rest of the game, with the Rams four-goal last quarter proving enough.
Chris Bryan bagged five for Kaniva-Leeor, while their new recruit Kayne Councillor was their best on ground.
Kalkee tallied another win, with a 92-point victory over Laharum.

Jayden Kuhne kicked four goals for Kalkee and Simon Hobbs was named as their best.
