A man in his 60s was hiking after, setting out from the Wonderland carpark and heading up to the summit of the Pinnacle on Friday.
On his descent, the man slipped and injured his right lower leg. Unable to walk from the area, he called triple-zero.

Police from Stawell and Halls Gap, as well as Stawell SES and Ambulance Victoria attended and commenced the rescue operation.
The man was located and assessed by Ambulance Victoria, and subsequently conveyed to Stawell Regional Health.
Acting Senior Sergeant Eddie Malpas said emergency services acted swiftly on the day.

"Emergency services did a great job in safely extracting the man from the area in a timely manner," he said.
"This incident prompts us to remind tourists attending the area to, where possible, ensure you hike with someone rather than on your own, ensure you are prepared with adequate clothing and the correct footwear, and be mindful that conditions can often change when navigating areas such as the Pinnacle."
