It is understood some industrial rubbish is on fire is emitting toxic smoke.
Residents within the area are asked to remain inside, close windows and doors and turn off air conditioning units due to toxic smoke.
Those travelling through the region are warned to avoid Lillimur and keep the area clear as emergency services respond.
