Business Horsham ambassador Stacey Taig said it will get more businesses across Victoria to do the best thing to keep Victoria and Victorians safe.
"It's encouraging those businesses who haven't been complying to step up to the plate," she said.
"Moving forward we have all been working towards the new COVID-19 norm for businesses and this is one of those tools everyone will be using.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"It's an unfortunate thing that we have to use it but we do. Like everything in life if we don't comply, there are consequences."
Ms Taig said she hopes both customers and businesses step up with the QR Code system.
"There are still those who are responding in part to their customers, because everyone plays a part in this," she said.
"The poor business owners quite often bear the brunt of the anger of customers coming in and having to comply, and if they're not used to the technology or their phones and technology aren't up to scratch, they do tend to take it out on the business owner.
"Everyone plays a part, not just business owners. The community as a whole plays a part as well."
Keeping up with QR coding in businesses looks to be a part of "COVID norm", Ms Taig said.
"It's not going away anytime soon," she said.
"All of these tools make it easier in the event things do change."
