The six-time Group One race winner made it back-to-back victories in the Swan Hill Cup (1600m) and his third time overall, when he steered home the Lindsey Smith trained Adelaide Ace, ahead of Prince of Helena and Zachaz.
The win was Adelaide Ace's first since February 2020, which delighted Smith, who credited Yendall for playing a big part in the success.
"I thought the switch to left hand was quite telling actually," Smith said after the race.

"When he switched it over he did dig in when I thought the other horse might have had him... I thought that was the difference between winning and losing."
Yendall echoed Smith's joy at the Cup win in an interview with Racing.com.
"He traveled really well, I never touched the bridle then at one stage I thought I wasn't going that well," Yendell said.
"But I remembered when young Lachie (Neindorf) rode him last time, he looked like he hit a flat spot and was good again late... so I was hoping that was going to be the case.
"Everything fell into place.
"The trainers are dishing me out these rides you know, obviously I try and pay respect to as well as I can and ride them to the best of my ability, so it's been all worth it..."
Yendall's five-win haul came close to his personal best of six-wins in a meeting, which the hoop achieved at Mildura in 2010.
