Horsham's first pop-up Family Fun Fair will be sticking around for another fun-filled weekend.
Melbourne Family Fun owner Tony McCullough said he was flooded with messages from people who hadn't managed to get to the carnival over the weekend.
"People didn't want their children to miss out," he said.
"We decided to stay for one more weekend."
IN OTHER NEWS:
Mr McCullough said they had a great response from the community after last weekend's fair.
"It was good to see everyone smiling and enjoying themselves," he said.
The fair will be open again this weekend.
It will open on Friday, June 25 at 5.30pm and close at 9.30pm.
On Saturday, June 26 the grounds will open from noon until 9.30pm and on Sunday, June 27, the fair will be open from noon until 8pm.
Horsham Agricultural Society venue manager Andrea Cross said having the fair in town has been hugely beneficial.
"These guys have been to the White Hat every night for tea, they've spent $2,000 on new tires," she said.
"This fair supports six families, seven, including mine."
Ms Cross said having outside events utilise the space is a huge help after being hit by COVID-19 restrictions and lockdowns.
"If they didn't come to the showgrounds and hire our space, we would be absolutely struggling," she said.
"For us to get a burst of financial support that we didn't bank on with this pop-up fair has meant the world to us."
Mr McCullough is fourth generation of his family to work in the fair industry. The fair itself is run by three families which are all connected.
"We want to see as many happy faces as we can see in these hard time," he said.
"Come down and enjoy yourselves."
