The augmented Electoral Commission for Victoria on Tuesday announced the outcome of its deliberations on the names and boundaries of the 39 federal electoral divisions in Victoria.
Formerly part of the Ripon district, Stawell and its surrounds, including Great Western could sit under Lowan - the seat of National's state member Emma Kealy.
A portion of land including Donald, Charlton and Lake Buloke could also be redistributed from Ripon to Mildura.

Ms Kealy welcomed the proposed electoral redistribution.
"The draft proposal by the Electoral Boundaries Commission for Lowan to take in Stawell, Great Western, Glenorchy and Mortlake makes a lot of sense and is very similar to the submission provided by The Nationals," she said.
"I look forward to contesting the seat of Lowan for The Nationals at the next election, and continuing to fight for the issues that matter most to local people and ensure their voice is heard."
Federal electoral boundaries have also seen a redistribution, with a minor adjustment between the proposed divisions of Mallee and Wannon in the locality of Black Range taking place.
The Hon. Justice Susan Kenny AM, the presiding member, thanked the individuals and organisations who contributed to the redistribution.
"All written objections and comments, as well as the information presented at the online inquiry, have been carefully considered in deciding the final names and boundaries," she said.
"The augmented Electoral Commission has unanimously agreed to retain the name of the Division of Corangamite and to modify the boundaries of 20 of the electoral divisions initially proposed in March.
"The augmented Electoral Commission has also unanimously accepted the Redistribution Committee's proposed boundary changes to the remaining electoral divisions and the creation of the new Division of Hawke."
The names and boundaries of the federal electoral divisions for Victoria will officially apply from Monday, July 26, 2021. Overview maps will be available on the AEC website on Monday, July 26, 2021.
Detailed maps and a report outlining the augmented Electoral Commission's reasons for its formal determination will be tabled in the Federal Parliament and will subsequently be made publicly available.
