These country ladies will debut on the channel 10 show on Wednesday, July 21.

The two will be part of the contestant group of 23 women vying for the attention of 31-year-old pilot First Officer Jimmy Nicholson.

Ashleigh is a speech pathologist and said she applied for the show "on a whim."

"I was home alone one evening, sipping wine and frustrated with my non-existent love life," she said.

"I'd just found out my ex got engaged and I'd recently been ghosted, yet again, by someone I thought was a nice guy."

She said her siblings have found love on dating apps but had no luck herself, despite giving it a "red hot go."

"I didn't have the same luck," Ashleigh lamented.

She also is familiar with a broken heart but remains positive about finding love.

"I'm guilty of running headfirst into red flags," Ashleigh said.

"But I'll break my heart endlessly if it leads me to the right person eventually."

Ashleigh described herself as bubbly and enthusiastic. She probably gets a lot of her bubbliness from the one thing she can't go a day without, her coffee.

"Sometimes before I go to bed, I get a little flutter of excitement when I realise it'll be morning soon and I'll get to have one. That's how much I love my morning coffee."

She'll need that bubbliness for her idea date, which is something terrifying and fast paces.

"Like skydiving or bungee jumping," Ashleigh said.

"Anything that gets the blood pumping. There's nothing like a bit of adrenaline to make a shared experience a memorable one."

Ashleigh's parents have been together for more than 30 years and taught her it takes work for a committed relationship and that relationships evolve and change over time and are worth sticking around for the long haul.

The second Horsham grown contestant is Lily, a 23-year-old crane operator who described herself as a "little girl with a lot of love."

Another young woman has had her heartbroken but ready to put herself out there for love.

"I tried so hard for someone who just wasn't ready," Lily said.

"I'm ready more than ever, so that result of nothing really stung."

Lily described herself as someone with a lot of love to give and is looking for a decent human who isn't going to play her.

She said she offers a companion "loyalty, security, love and a fun life companion."

"I may be young, but I know what life is about and I feel like I'd be great to have on your side in life," Lily explained.

"I want nothing more than for someone to want me in their life.

Lily said her love life is a bit like Sex and the City.

"I can never seem to shake guys that come into my life, they just stay around but never actually seal the deal," she said.

"I'm hoping to find myself a Mr Big like Carrie did."

Hopefully, these young Horsham women find what they are looking for, whether it's Mr Right or Mr Big.

The Bachelor 2021 will premiere on Wednesday, July 21 at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Play On Demand.
