Recruitment is now open for Project Firefighter and Forest and Fire Operations Officers.
Grampians Deputy Chief Fire Officer Tony English said it is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is physically fit and ready for plenty of outdoor work.
"These positions are important in protecting our communities and the environment in the Grampians," Mr English said.
"You could be operating heavy machinery one week and responding to an emergency the next."

Project Firefighter roles include general firefighters, fire support officers and rappel crew, while the Forest and Fire Operations Officers roles include field operations supervisors, plant operations, and field team leads. All positions maintain the public land our wonderful Grampians region has on offer.
These fixed-term positions will be based in various areas across the Wimmera and Grampians, including Horsham, Edenhope, Halls Gap and Wail.
Work will include managing roadside vegetation, pest and weed control, taking part in planned burning, emergency response and suppression of bushfires in parks and forests.
There are several positions available for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island people and women, with FFMVic working towards achieving equal representation of men and women by 2025.
The employment of additional staff supports FFMVic's advanced forest and fire management approach to deliver a 365-day per year fuel management program, including targeted burning, enhancing Victoria's first attack capacity and capability to control and prevent fires.
"We encourage anyone looking for an opportunity to work in our beautiful forests and parks to apply," Mr English said.
"Extensive training will be provided to successful recruits, with people from all work backgrounds encouraged to apply."
Applications are now open, with Forest and Fire Operations Officers roles closing on Wednesday, July 28, and Project Firefighter roles closing on Sunday, August 1.
