The Manager of the Horsham Neighbourhood house, Charlie Helyar, said being a member means taking ownership of your neighbourhood house and feel part of it.
"A person can join and at the moment there is no membership fee," he said.
"They can have a sense of ownership of the house, they can have voting rights at our AGM and potentially join the committee and have a say in how Horsham Neighbourhood House gets run.

Mr Helyar said there is no time commitment in being a general house member. People can get involved in as little or as much as they want with the house.
"They can just join up and become a part of programs if they want," he said.
