Unbeaten Noradjuha-Quantong have another reason to smile after the club announced Gareth Hose and Damian Cameron would lead the Bombers as joint coaches in 2022.
Hose currently in his fifth season at the helm of the Bombers, said he was looking forward to working with Cameron, who is currently in his first season playing with the side.
"I can't wait to work with Damo, we've got similar philosophies on the game and the way we like the game to be played," Hose said.
"I'm rapt that Damo's come on board because he's been a very successful coach in his own right previously."
Cameron previously coached at Tatyoon in the Mininera league as well as Minyip-Murtoa in the Wimmera league. In both roles, he led the side to grand final appearances.
"I've done a bit of coaching before and had a bit of a spell from it," Cameron said.
"I've got that hunger back and it was a nice surprise when Hosey brought it up.
"I'm pretty keen."
Both Hose and Cameron were unsurprisingly pleased with the Bombers 2021 season form after 11 rounds. The side sits two wins clear of second-placed Rupanyup with a superior percentage of more than fifty.
"We've progressed over the last couple of years and being undefeated at this time of the year is obviously a bonus and if we can bypass all the COVID-19 stuff and get some finals in hopefully we can keep the winning going," Cameron said.
Cameron himself has had a superb season on the field being named in his side's best seven times from ten games, as well as being named the Bombers' standout performer in round 11 against Kalkee. He plans to juggle his coaching duties with his playing role in 2022.
