Knight will take over from Ebonie Salter who is stepping back from the role. It will be her first time at the helm of an A Grade netball side and she told The Wimmera Mail-Times that she was "pumped".
"We're still waiting to find out what happens this year, we've still got unfinished business in our current team so as excited as I am for next year I'm still focusing on this year until we know for certain that we can't play," Knight said.

According to Knight, coaching an A Grade side was something that has been on her "radar".
"I'm really lucky that Harrow have given me the opportunity and trusted me enough to let me take over the reigns from Eb there and have a crack at it," she said.
The Roos currently sit third on the ladder under Salter, as the region awaits news regarding the latest lockdown's length. Knight had nothing but kind words to say about Harrow-Balmoral's current coach.
"She's such a talented not only player but mentor. I was really lucky even with COVID this year to even get to experience one squashed in season, just being mentored by her and to see how she runs things," she said.
"Hopefully she'll still be around at the club, just in a different way."
