Nhill Tigers A Grade coach Charlotte Foulds said her team created a strong feeling around the group despite the lack of wins.
"We have had a really good vibe around the club this year. We haven't had many wins, but we have created a really good environment for training and spending time together through all of the teams," she said.
"And we have done well to create an environment where we all feel happy and excited to go to training and games.
"Our biggest challenge has been working really hard as a team and working really hard as an A Grade squad and then not getting the wins on the board.

"It is a bit disappointing and not what we planned for the start of the year."
Foulds said she has seen a number of bright sparks for her team with Jemma Schneider from the Tigers Under-17s one example.
"I think we have really enjoyed being a versatile team and playing at different positions on the court," she said.
OTHER NEWS:
"For us we have under-17 plyer Jemma Schneider, where she has played most of her junior netball in goals, but this year she has played most of her netball in the centre court.
"For us that is a really positive thing that we have been able to foster her into a new role and she has really stepped up from being a junior player to being a really reliable and consistent A Grade player and matched it with some of the best centres in the league."
The Tigers' C Reserve side was their best performed squad of the season with five wins for second place on the ladder.
In the B Grade Nhill recorded three wins on their way to eighth place. The C Grade and 17 and Under were also winless in 2021.
The Nhill 15 and Under and 13-Under sides, scored just one win each for eighth place on the ladder.
