The club was asked to hold the event in 2020 at the 11th hour and found out just recently that Golf Australia wanted them to do it all again this year.
"They (Golf Australia) had such a good time that they want to do that again this year which will be in December," Horsham Golf Club president Gerard Bardell said.

"So that will bring a number of people to Horsham and the community and they'll be here for four days when that happens in early December."
Despite having to cancel their annual tournament slated for this week, the Club have been able to take positives from the lockdown.
With the course being out of action for an extended period, they have used it as an opportunity to update their facilities; which includes installing a 30 kilowatt solar system on the cart shed, renovating the greens and re-wiring the whole course to all the solenoids.
"We were still having problems with the solenoids' wires from the fire which was 12 years ago now," Bardell said.
"All of that's been re-wired, they're hooking the computer up for that on Thursday and that will be done.
"We're also renovating the fairways which haven't been done for a number of years.

" (And) we've got some funding to get our driving range shelter operational and our plan is to have that operational by the time the PGA senior event is here."
Bardell said that the club is using the time as best they can to make sure they are prepared for when golf is given the green light to return.
"There's a lot still happening behind the scenes," he said.
"We're really wanting to present the course in such a manner that it really is ready to go for when we are able to play again and it's something that the members and the community can be really proud of."
