A Daylesford medical centre will close for deep cleaning on Saturday, stating on Facebook it is a tier-one exposure site and had an alleged exposure on Wednesday afternoon.
It states it has been advised by the Department of Health to close, and asked for patience during contact tracing.
It follows a Daylesford business posting on Facebook that a staff member had returned a positive test after working on Tuesday, September 7.
Australian Community Media has chosen not to name the businesses until the case is officially confirmed.
Neither the business nor the medical centre are listed on the official DHHS list of exposure sites at time of writing.
The business has been contacted for further information. The DHHS would not confirm the positive case late on Friday.
