A spokesperson for GrainCorp said more than 200 roles are available in the region, for positions such as weight bridge operators, sample stand operators, hopper attendants, laboratory technicians and general labourers.
The jobs are a good opportunity for school leavers to find casual employment during their gap year and try their hand at a different industry.
GrainCorp general manager of operations Nigel Lotz said the winter crop harvest was the 'grand final' the agriculture industry works towards each year.
"Growing conditions have been great and the buzz around another bumper winter crop harvest is building, so our annual drive for harvest casuals is a big part of getting ready," he said.

"Above all, we are focusses on running an efficient system at our sites for growers to be able to deliver and turn back around to the header as quickly as possible.
"Our harvest casuals are crucial to that process and in helping us provide excellent customer service to our growers."
Mr Lotz said the company has seen many backpackers apply for roles in the past, but the jobs have also been popular with students and retirees looking for an opportunity to travel.
"We have plenty of workers who enjoy the flexible hours and the chance to explore regional Australia, particularly while international borders are closed," he said.
"Our recruitment campaign has attracted over 6,000 applicants so we are looking forward to the same success this year, given it is such a great time to be in grain."
The Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences crop forecast showed although this season's production may not equal the near-record high from 2020, growers across Australia are set to produce 46.8 million tonnes.
Harvest work begins in Victoria from mid-November to early December.
