While they were able to pivot and host an online version, support has been announced from the Federal Government.
Horsham Agricultural and Pastoral Society secretary Andrea Cross said "it means the world" to be able to apply for this sort of grant.
"We've just cancelled our second and we are once again struggling to continue to operate," she said.

"With our operational costs, that's the one part of grants applications that you don't generally get access to."
The Australian Government will provide $25 million to help agricultural shows and field days bounce back post-pandemic and continue to deliver ongoing benefits to their communities.
Last year, the grant, called he Supporting Agricultural Shows and Field Days Program, delivered almost $35 million to show societies and field day organisers who cancelled in 2020.
Ms Cross said insurance alone per year is $16,000 let alone other operational costs.
"Last year the grant was $15,000 which covered about half of our power, insurance and water rate," she said.
"It certainly has a positive impact in that regard."
Ms Cross said the loss of the Horsham Show costs the society about $35,000, which is the annual income for the society.
"I don't know how we would be functioning without the grant from last year," she said.
"To be reliving that situation again, it's come as welcome relief."
Ms Cross said event planning in 2021 had been rough.
"This year I'm spending so much time in administration and also trying to find answers," she said.
"It's really difficult to put events back on."
Natimuk Agricultural and Pastoral Society secretary Judith Bysouth said the funding won't be so helpful for the Natimuk organisation.
"The Natimuk A and P society held a very successful show this year in March so we're not eligible for that funding," she said.
Ms Bysouth said because the show was not cancelled, the society can't apply for the funding.
Natimuk Agricultural show will celebrate its 130th show in 2022.
