A driver has allegedly fled the scene of a head-on collision with a tractor on Horsham Wal-Wal Road in St Helens Plains on Tuesday.

It is understood a Ford sedan bearing fake number plates collided with a tractor at around 6.05pm.
The driver of the Ford allegedly left the scene of the incident prior to police arrival.
Officers later attended the Wimmera Base Hospital after a 41-year-old man self-presented with injuries.

The man is expected to be charged with summons of driving whilst disqualified, use false plates and fail to exchange details after a collision.
The tractor driver was uninjured during the incident.
Horsham Highway Patrol officers are investigating the incident.
