"Over 250 households in the Horsham area have already applied and received the bonus, but there is still many more that have not applied," Charlie Helyar Manager Horsham Neighbourhood House said.
Member for Lowan, Emma Kealy is also support the bonus.
Mr Helyar said Ms Kealy has sent out letters about the process and to seek out help from Neighbourhood Houses if you have trouble applying.
Mr Helyar said the house is there to support the community.
"If people have a family member, friend or neighbour who may be eligible for this payment, please ensure they are aware of it, they have up until the end of January 2022 to apply," he said.
One community member who came to the house for help was Jan Morris, who said she heard about the Power Saving Bonus through a post Mr Helyar made on a Horsham group Facebook page.
"I hadn't heard about it and thought I'd go around and see Charlie," she said.
Ms Morris said she got the notification that it has been processed before she'd even left.
"I couldn't believe it," she said.
"I didn't expect to get it, I didn't know what the criteria was. But within a few days it was in my back account."
Ms Morris said she has told others about it who have come to the house to get help in appyling.
"Some hadn't even heard about it," she said.
People that do not have internet access can make appointments with Mr Helyar at Horsham Neighbourhood House or contact a Neighbourhood House in their area and be helped in applying for the bonus.
