Sadly, there were another four deaths.
A total of 56 people are currently in intensive care units and 25 are on ventilators.
There were 6083 vaccinations administered and the number of people who have had both jabs sits at around 4.8 million.
In the last 24 hours, 61,650 test results have been received.
On Saturday, the Wimmera-Grampians region had recorded four new cases in the past 24 hours according to the Victorian government.
The state government has confirmed that international students arriving in Melbourne under the it's Student Arrivals Plan do not have to quarantine, provided they can demonstrate to the Commonwealth they meet vaccination conditions.
Minister for Trade Martin Pakula said the Commonwealth has been formally advised that the plan has been updated to reflect standard entry requirements for fully-vaccinated international travellers, including international students, in place since November 1.
"The amazing vaccination effort of Victorians means fully-vaccinated international arrivals, including students enrolled at our universities and colleges, will not have to serve a period of hotel quarantine," he said.
