David Morris has signed with the Warriors for the 2022 season, marking his arrival back at the club where he played during his junior footballing days.
Stawell Warriors football department manager Blair Hart said the club was excited to have Morris back in the red and black.
Hart said Morris will bring his toughness, football intelligence and leadership to the Warriors during the 2022 season.
"He is a Stawell boy and he has played all of his juniors here and with the Rebels," Hart said.
"He can play anywhere on the ground and has got all the attributes for a footballer.
"He is pretty tough and hard at the football and will be a very, very good inclusion for us."

Morris has a strong football pedigree as a previous Warriors captain through junior grades and the seniors in 2016.
He was also the captain of the North Ballarat Rebels where he spent three years playing at the top junior level.
His most recent football stint has been four years with Leopold in the Geelong Football League, and the Warriors are hoping he can share some of that experience with their squad.
"He has been playing good footy for a long time, for the last few years," Hart said.
"He has been at that higher level football and that is what we want our side to be playing at.
"Dave is pretty good in and under, tough and has a good footy brain.
"He is a strong leader which is something we lack a little bit, and he can help by fixing things when they are going wrong on the field on game day."
In terms of his position in the side, Hart said Morris has played some football in Leopold's backline, but expects Morris to be in the thick of it in the Warriors midfield in 2022.

With Cody Driscoll and Jay Moody headed to Navarre for 2022, Hart said the club will be trying their best to fill the gap.
"Football wise it is disappointing, but it is also disappointing to lose a good people from your club," Hart said.
"Their exits leaves a big hole, I mean Cody is our full-forward and he is a very good one at that and it is never an easy position to fill.
"We have all left on pretty good terms and we wish them good luck."
In addition to Morris' signing, Hart said he club are looking at bolstering their ruck and forward stocks as they look to improve on their third place finish in the 2021 WFNL season.
The club also started their senior football preseason on Monday night at Central Park from 6pm, with all new, old, returning and junior players are welcome and encouraged to come down to begin the season.
