
IN December 2021, Yarriambiack Shire Council awarded several bursaries to the secondary schools in the municipality.
A council spokesperson said they were "very honoured" to to provide a $250 Bursary to each of the Secondary Schools.

Murtoa College, Hopetoun P-12 College, Warracknabeal Secondary and the Warracknabeal Special school received theirs in late 2021.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The schools will use the $250 how they see fit.
Other schools in the region will receive their bursary when the new school year begins.
Councillor Karly Kirk was able to present the Yarriambiack Shire Bursary Award to Warracknabeal Special Development School student Jake Milbourne along with special school principal, Peter Clayton.
