"I'm really happy (to be appointed)," Foulds told The Wimmera Mail-times.
"We made lots of progress last year so I was really happy to have been given the job again."
The Tigers went winless in 2021, something Foulds is hoping to rectify in the upcoming season.
"I think we came a long way last year and we had some really competitive games, so definitely a goal of ours is to be able to turn those competitive games into wins," she said.
"We need to be able to get some wins on the board not just be competitive in a sense of losing by (just) the ten goals.
"We want to be the ones that are winning by the ten goals.
"I've spoken to people from other clubs that were impressed with how competitive we were but that doesn't really show at the end on the scoreboard which is what everyone else sees."
Although the 2021 season didn't produce the on-court results she would have liked, Foulds believed the experience would benefit her going into her second year.
"I had a few little challenges as you do in the season, but I feel like I've learned a lot," she said.
"I loved it, but it was challenging at times taking that step up to coaching adults as opposed to children.
"It was really good and I had Emma Beer helping me who has coached Nhill A grade previously.
"She was really fantastic in giving me the guidance and support that I needed.
"As well as having great support from everyone else at the club."
It's too early to predict how the Tigers will line-up come round one, however, Foulds is hopeful that Tigers will keep a lot of their players and have a strong side named for their first game in April.
"It's always hard to tell this early on, people don't like to sign themselves up too quickly," she laughed.
"We've lost a couple from our A Grade side just with people moving away with jobs and uni but we've got a couple coming back which should be good.
"And we'll have some B Grade girls that will be able to challenge for A-Grade which will be really good as well."
MORE NEWS:
In a testament to her commitment to the Tigers' cause, Foulds has also been named coach of the club's Under 15 team alongside Sydney Thorogood.
Nhill will get their 2022 season underway against the Horsham Demons on April 9.
