Each week, The Wimmera Mail-Times catches up with players of all different sporting codes from across the region.
This week the Mail-Times had a chat with Colts Cricket Club's Ross Frew.
In round nine Colts proved too good for Laharum chasing down their 100 run total in the 19th over of a T20.
What do you love about playing cricket?
Just getting around the boys.
Just teamwork, comradery and all that sort of stuff.
READ MORE:
What's your role in the team?
I'm a bit of an all-rounder.
Medium seamers and a middle order hitter.
Who is your favourite cricketer of all time and why?
Matty Hayden.
He could hit a big ball but he also had the ability to shut it down if he had to.
What do you love about playing for the Colts?
Again, a good bunch of blokes.
There's no "I'm better than you" kind of thing.
Everyone has a beer with everyone, it doesn't matter if you're a C Grader or a B Grader, everyone gets along really well.
Who is your funniest teammate?
Nathan Keel.
You never know what he's going to do on the field.
MORE NEWS:
If you needed six runs to win off one ball, who from your team are you backing to clear the fence?
Definitely not myself.
Probably Brad Millar or Josh Colbert.
Are you watching anything on any streaming services at the moment that you'd like to recommend?
No, nothing really.
What is your favourite movie of all time?
Major League.
I just love all the funny quotes in it.
If you watch the movie there's a lot of one-liners that are pretty well-placed.
