In the latter, an inspired Rup-Minyip bowling attack managed to blunt the Tigers' bite at City Oval.
Led by Mark Mbofana (3-18), Rup-Minyip tore through Jung's batsmen in under 17 overs, and restricted the Tigers to just 68 runs.
Jung opener Brenton Hallam top scored with a fighting 23, however he'd be the only Tiger to reach double figures before he was trapped in front by Mbofana.
Rup-Minyip's Billy Foorde-Engelsman struck twice early in the match, to remove opener Chris Hauselberger for 4 and the dangerous Grant Connelly for 2.

Foorde-Engelsman finished the match with figures of 2-14 from his four overs, while Bailey Young wasn't far behind taking 2-21.
In reply, Tigers' spearhead David Puls looked to have found the magic early, when he removed Mbofana for a duck and Rup-Minyip captain Jamie Bryne for 1.
The Tigers were still very much in the match, with Rup-Minyip reeling at 2-12.
The Tigers kept up the pressure and another flurry of wickets saw the Panthers 3-24 and then 4-25, however the total was just too low to defend in the end.
Dan Clark (28) and Dylan Eats (22) saw Rup-Minyip over the line, to finish 5-73.
The result meant Homers have leapfrogged the Tigers into second place on the ladder by just 0.012 per cent.
On Friday night, a thriller was played out at City Oval as Homers came within moments of ending the Bullants' unbeaten streak.
Batting first, Homers set a target of 116 for the reigning premiers on a tricky wicket at twlight.
Homers' opener Paddy Mills and number three Chaminda Gamage put on a handy 54 run partnership after power-hitter Luke Deutscher fell early for 7.
After a slight tremble in the order left the home side 4-72, Homers captain Adam Atwood stood up and produced a crucial 31 from 30 runs to push Homers over 100.
MORE NEWS:
As with previous weeks, Matt Combe looked the most dangerous with the ball, taking 3-13, while Bullants spearhead Tony Caccaviello had a quiet night with 0-22.
However, Caccaviello made sure to fie with the bat, scoring 30 from 29 deliveries to lead the Bullants scorecard.
Caccaviello was supported by thrifty knocks from Shane Oakly (19), Josh Beddison (15) and Samuel Leith (12).
However, the Bullants kept losing wickets regularly and it wasn't until the second last ball of the innings that the winning runs were hit.
