Jan Morris said she hoped the concert would encourage children and teenagers to continue their musical journeys.
She said all money raised would go towards a $1000 encouragement scholarship for a Wimmera performer.
She said past winners would take the stage at the concert as well as a lot of new talent.
``Shaun Hallam, Kristy Ward and Brock Lynch will all be back,'' she said.
Former scholarship winner Rowan Smith and Brian Harris would also perform.
Mrs Morris said Brock Lynch would be compere.
She said other highlights would include quartets, duos and solos, as well as pieces by former Horsham sisters Catherine and Elysia Mitchell and Amanda and Alison Glaubitz.
Horsham's Don Mitchell would also perform.
Mrs Morris said she always looked forward to the concerts because of the enthusiasm.
Director Brandi Galpin said the concert would showcase 23 items.
``There are a lot of young and up-and-coming performers. There are a lot of instrumental and vocal performances,'' she said.
She said people could buy tickets from Chisholm Hi Fi or at Wesley Performing Arts Centre on the day.
She encouraged people to come along. ``It's a good variety concert,'' she said.
Mrs Morris said the Richard Morris Memorial Concert was on Saturday at 8pm, at Wesley Performing Arts Centre.
