January: Jordie McAuliffe
McAuliffe won her nomination for being selected in the All-Australian under-16 country representative side after the 2016 Australian Basketball Country Cup. McAuliffe was a standout performer.
February: Peter Smith
Smith won his nomination after winning four gold medals at the state over-55 water skiing titles. He led slalom, tricks and jump sections, on his way to taking out the overall division gold medal.
March: Jesse Iese
Iese won his nomination after winning two gold medals at the 2016 Australian Junior Athletic Championships in Perth. Iese won gold in shotput and a gold in discuss breaking a discus record.
April: Craig Kelly
Kelly won his nomination after earning an a chance to represent Australia after a successful National Titles. He was a member of the Australian side that won the Glenn Cup in New Zealand.
May: Jayden Gascoyne
Gascoyne won his nomination for his selection in the South Australian Rugby League side to compete at the Nationals. He was also selected in the Mount Gambier representative side.
June: Maggie Caris
Caris won her nomination after being selected for the elite School Sport Victoria under-15 netball team that competed at the National Championships where she won a bronze medal.
July: Cory Watts
Watts won his nomination after finishing second at the Victorian Seniors Motox Championships in the A Open class and fourth in the A Lites class. Watts is still young in age and has years ahead of him.
August: Bianca Lauricella, Matt Taylor, Alfred Muller and Josh Barry
Lauricella won bronze for Victoria at All Abilities netball champs while Taylor, Muller and Barry won bronze for Vic Country at All Abilities football.
September: Sophie Martin
Martin won her nomination after being selected to represent Victoria thanks to standout performance at the 2016 Junior Country Cup in Colac wqhere she averaged 171.5.
October: Cleo Baker and Laelah Robertson
The pair won their joint nomination after being a part of the Victorian Gold team that won a silver medal at the National Junior Volleyball Championships on the Gold Coast.
November: Zoe Hawker
Hawker won her nomination after making the top six Victorian State Women's Postal team at the State Clay Target Championships, she is the youngest person ever to reach this achievement.
December: Matt Combe
Combe won his nomination for making the Vic Country cricket team that competed at the National Country Cricket Championships in Woolongong.
