Ladies auxiliary secretary Anne Stevens said the current monitors were about 10 years old.
The donation came after the Ladies auxiliary hosted its biannual fashion show on Tuesday, raising a further $4500.
“We have an opportunity shop that raises a lot of money and an arrangement with Bunnings for sausage sizzles, plus the two fashion shows a year,” Mrs Stevens said.
“The money adds up fairly quickly.”
Wimmera Health Care Group director of clinical services Don McRae accepted the donation.
Mrs Stevens said the fashion show, featuring clothing from Kouture by Kaz, was a big success.
“We had six models and 150 people in the audience at the Assembly of God Church,” she said.
“Tony and Cynthia from Lawrence Country Music performed as well.
“The ladies auxiliary committee members brought along food and everyone enjoyed a finger food luncheon.”
