All things Bright and Beautiful Exhibition

It was a week when many things bright and beautiful were on display at the Art Exhibition hosted by the Southern Mallee Cooperative Parish churches.

Supported by the local of Rainbow and Hopetoun and Artist from Mildura to Melbourne, it was the third Exhibition and a wonderful success.

Visitors from South Australia as well as various parts of Victoria came, many of whom were surprised to see the variety and talent of those whose works were displayed.

From realist paintings to wood work, from Patchwork to Photography, the colour and beauty of the work of dedicated artists was inspiring to all who came.

The Exhibition was manned by volunteers and Devonshire teas were available for those who wanted to sit and soak up the atmosphere over good conversation or quiet contemplation.

Pictured are Shirley Newton and son, David, with Gwen Malcolm of Hopetoun and Pam Clugston with her creative “Jellyfish”< a real standout as a 3-dimensional work of art.

The Church Members are grateful for all who supported this venture and look forward to next year, with the theme, “Life in All its Fullness.”
