Band members recognised for service
Awards have been presented to members of the Warracknabeal and District Band at their annual general meeting.
Robyn Koschitzke was awarded life membership from band president Colin Newell.
At the recent event Robyn Koschitzke was awarded life membership while Trish Heinrich was presented with the Ken Smale Award for 2025.
A presentation was also made to Noel Taylor, recipient of the Ken Smale Award last year, who had been absent from that AGM.
The award is named in honour of a past director, player and president and life member of the band.
Mr Smale has had more than 80 years of band involvement within the Wimmera.
