Ceremony of appreciation
DIMBOOLA’S Australia Day celebration was already underway at 10.30am behind the library with about 100 attendees taking advantage of the pleasant garden area and the welcome shade to gather together.
A sizeable crowd turned out despite the hot weather forecast for a late morning Australia Day on Monday. Hindmarsh mayor, Cr Ron Ismay addressed the enthusiastic crowd who stayed mostly in the shade and enjoyed a morning tea served up by the Dimboola CWA.
