Christmas Eve carols
FOR a celebratory, sublime and glorious experience on Christmas Eve, head to the Dimboola Lutheran Church for an evening of carols and readings.
St Peter’s chairperson, Ann Jensz said they had joined with the other churches in Dimboola (Anglican, Catholic and Uniting) for a service “to remind us all of the true meaning of Christmas”.
“We are inviting not only the members of the different churches, but of all interested Dimboola and district people to come along and join in singing the well-known carols and remember the familiar Christmas story,” she said.
“We particularly encourage families to bring along their children, who will each receive a little package to remind them of what Christmas is all about.”
With no services scheduled in Dimboola on Christmas Day, the community have been invited to stretch their vocal chords in fellowship to make for an enjoyable warm-up to the following day.
Head to the corner of Ellerman St and Horsham Rd ready to sing from 7.30pm.
