Office bearers for Warracknabeal are Dave Mansfield as president, Emma Mansfield as secretary, Gil Arnold as treasurer, Alan Smith as first vice president and Peter Gosling as induction officer.

Outgoing president Maurie Parsons addressed guests as he provided a brief overview of the club's achievements and activities over the past year.

"We have had a successful year fundraising and with many members sitting down the street selling raffle tickets for trailer loads of wood, our coffers have increased dramatically," he said.

"At Christmas, we put together four hampers to give some cheer to needy people within our community."

Mr Parsons also outlined some projects in which members were involved, such as maintaining the cemetery, catering and hosting a barbecue for local race meets, organising the monthly market, and maintaining Lions Park.

The Warracknabeal Lions also inducted two new members during the year, Robyn and Norm, who have fitted into the club well.

The Brim Lions Club will head into the new year with Max Golder as president, Peter King as vice president, Matt Crisp as secretary and Aaron Boyd as treasurer.

During his president's report, Mr Golder highlighted the continued maintenance of Redda's Park and the success of the annual New Year's Eve celebrations at Redda's Park.

"New Year's Eve at Redda's Park was very successful with a raft regatta, kids colouring corner, pony rides, a coffee van, yabby races, followed by a barbecue and music by a couple of local musicians finishing the night with a spectacular fireworks display," he said.

"The rest of the year just continued with the general goings-ons with the club.

"A special thanks to the rest of the Lions for the outstanding and tireless work they do around the town to make it a pleasurable place to live and visit."

The Brim Lions have also been involved in paper collection and recycling, the Lions' Eye Health Program in local schools, cemetery maintenance, Lions' cakes, car battery collection and recycling, and town fire prevention (mowing).
