Council pushing for drought recognition
THE Hindmarsh Shire Council is calling for the area to be added to the official list of drought-declared councils, as local conditions continue to decline.
The Hindmarsh Shire Council has written to the federal Member of Parliament and the Victorian Shadow Minister for Agriculture regarding the drought residents are facing across the shire.
