Council to host pool parties in 2026
Hindmarsh Shire Council to host a series of free summer pool parties across the municipality in early 2026 and is inviting families and young people to enjoy an evening of swimming, music and food at local outdoor pools.
Dimboola kids Sierra, 12, Charlie, 11, and Hattie,11, are making a splash, beating extreme weather with a swim in the Dimboola Swimming Pool.
The 2026 Pool Parties will take place at Rainbow Pool on Tuesday, January 13; Nhill Pool on Friday, January 30; Dimboola Pool on Saturday, January 31; and Jeparit Pool on Friday, February 13, with each event running from 6pm to 9pm.
DJ Bunga will provide entertainment, and a free barbecue will be available after 6pm at all locations.
Council confirmed the events are fully funded through the Amplify program and will be drug, alcohol, smoke, and vape-free, creating a safe and welcoming environment for the community.
