Demons outplayed by Thunder
At Horsham City Oval the Demons were outplayed by the Thunder 7.7 49 to 17.16 118.

Southern Mallee had an 18-point lead after the first quarter and built that lead as the game progressed to its eventual margin of 69 points.
Rhys Barber and Tyler Blake were the better players for the Demons, with Benjamin Janetzki, Jasper Gunn and Lachlan Hobbs all scoring a couple of goals each, while for the winners Billy Lloyd and Sam White were in form, with the latter slotting six majors.
While the Demons will play their final game for the season this Saturday, and it will be against Minyip Murtoa, the Thunder will line up against Dimboola, before kicking off their finals series the following week.
