Dimboola Golf Club kicks off winter season

Even though our course is missing that lovely green flush, it’s still very playable and we are getting some impressive numbers every week.
We had 21 members playing Stableford last Saturday 10th May, and it was the first round of the Winter Cup.
The winner of the day, with a fantastic score of 40 points, was Barry Cakebread, and the runner-up was Daniel Danisch with 36 points.
Nearest to pins - no-one on the fourth, Bob Richards on the 18th, and the Money Hole 13th was won by Barry Cakebread.

The week before, we had 25 members compete in a stroke round for the May Monthly Medal on Saturday 3rd May, plus it was the first round of the club championships.
Our Monthly Medal this month was won by Daniel Danisch with a great score of 99-31-68, on a countback, with runner-up “Dickie” Gazelle also on 68 (87-19-68).
A Grade winner today was “Dickie” Gazelle, and runner-up was Jessie Day with 81-7-74.
B Grade winner today was Daniel Danisch, and runner-up was Ross Howlett with 92-21-71.
Nearest to pin - no-one on the fourth, Mick Bothe on the 18th, and the Money Hole 13th was won by Heather Richards.
