With the heartbreak of missing out on a grand final berth still hurting, Dimboola's netballers are itching to hit the court this weekend.

However, a strong finish by the Demons saw them walk away winners 48-41.

Beugelaar's focus over the summer was on fitness, expecting the side to play out all four quarters throughout the season.

The Roos welcomed back midcourter Rihanna Keaney, who returned after having a baby; otherwise, the side remained relatively unchanged.

Beugelaar should line up in the front court with Nicole Polycarpou; the duo scored 90 per cent of Dimboola's goals in 2024.

Polycarpou hit 458 goals last year with 80 per cent accuracy, while Beugelaar scored 247 goals with 85 per cent accuracy.

The Roos take on Minyip-Murtoa, who only missed out on finals in 2024.

The Burras did lose its reigning best and fairest in Tamika Mentha but will see Ruby and Lili Wilson step up from juniors, and experienced players Jessie Newell, Sheridan Fisher and Stacey Arnold return after a few seasons on the sidelines.
