Drive-Thru fright

Emergency services were called to the Hungry Jacks Drive-Thru on Dimboola Road in Horsham at around noon on Sunday, March 9, after the driver of a vehicle exiting the drive-through area allegedly lost control and drove into two parked cars.

The family occupying the vehicle were not injured.

A tow truck was also called to the scene.

The accident was marked safe at 12.20pm.

Meanwhile, Horsham Crime Investigation Unit have charged a man following an alleged assault in Horsham on March 4.

It is understood an altercation occurred between two men at a residence on Elizabeth Street about 10.20pm.

It is believed the parties are known to each other. 

A 52-year-old Horsham man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. 

A 48-year-old Horsham man was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with intentionally causing serious injury.

He is to appear before the Horsham Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
