Drunk driver four times over limit
A motorist stopped by police in Warracknabeal at the weekend allegedly had more than four times the permitted level of alcohol in her bloodstream.
Senior Constable Lauren Cole said Warracknabeal Police intercepted a drunk driver in Warracknabeal on Saturday March 22 at 5.56pm.
"The driver, a 45-year-old woman, recorded a blood alcohol reading of .231, which is more than four times the legal limit," Sen Const Cole said.
"The car was immediately impounded at a cost of $1785.
"The Warracknabeal woman received an immediate licence suspension and will be summonsed to court at a later date."

Warracknabeal Police are appealing for information regarding an assault in Lyle Street, Warracknabeal, on the evening on Tuesday March 11.
Two victims were injured when they were allegedly assaulted by unidentified offenders.
