Eid ul Fitr, the 'Festival of Breaking the Fast,' follows 30 days of dawn-to-dusk fasting observed during Ramadan. Muslims worldwide celebrate this day with special prayers, festive meals, and acts of charity. Community members filled the mosque early morning to perform the Eid prayer. They wore traditional clothing, exchanged greetings, and embraced the spirit of unity and gratitude. Imam Mohammed Bilal led the prayer and reminded everyone of Eid's true meaning: compassion, generosity, and connection. Families shared homemade dishes, visited each other's homes, and donated Zakat al-Fitr to help those in need. The community used the occasion to strengthen bonds and spread joy across the town. The celebration brought together people of all ages and highlighted the diverse cultural presence in regional Victoria. Horsham's Muslim community embraced the day with warmth and faith, creating lasting memories and reinforcing the values of peace and goodwill.
