Finals time for tennis
The Central Wimmera Tennis Association finals are underway, with teams either playing to progress to the grand final or to secure a preliminary final spot.
The pennant competition still had one round of the regular season remaining.
In A special, Central Park will host Horsham Lawn O’Connor, while Brimpaen hosts Horsham Lawn Dorman.
In A grade, Central Park hosts Haven Red, while Horsham Lawn Tigers go against Horsham Lawn McGennisken.
In B special, Central Park hosts Laharum, while Horsham Lawn Savage meets Horsham Lawn Bardell.
In the Junior Open grade, all games will be held at Central Park as Central Park White takes on Central Park Blue, and Central Park Yellow hosts Horsham Lawn Green.
In Section 1 Boys, Haven hosts Horsham Lawn White, and Central Park takes on Horsham Lawn Gold.
In Section 1 Girls, Haven hosts Horsham Lawn White, while Horsham Lawn Green takes on Horsham Lawn Gold.
In Section 2 Boys, Horsham Lawn Gold takes on Haven, and Horsham Lawn Green meets Central Park.
In Section 2 Girls, Natimuk Blue hosts Horsham Lawn Red, and Horsham Lawn White hosts Haven.
Section 3 Boys saw Horsham Lawn Green play Horsham Lawn Gold on Monday, where Gold prevailed by just one game as sets were tied at 3-3.
The match between Haven blue and Central Park takes place on Saturday morning.
In Section 4 girls, Haven hosts Horsham Lawn, and Homers host Central Park.
All Match Play games take place at Haven from 5.30pm tonight.
In Match Play 5, Homers Red take on Central Park White, and Central Park Blue meet Horsham Lawn Green.
In Match Play 6, Horsham Lawn White verse Horsham Lawn Green, and Horsham Lawn Gold meet Central Park.
