Indigenous Round opens
The beginning of Indigenous Round was recognised across the Wimmera Football Netball League on Saturday, including at the game between Dimboola and the Demons, as captured by BRONNY CAMPBELL.
The celebration honours the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander players, along with their communities and cultures within Australian football.
The AFL is celebrating its Indigenous Round – named the Sir Doug Nicholls Round – in last week's round (May 15 to 18) and this coming round (May 22 to 25).
